A295 Shipping Wax Remover
This product provides and effective way of removing shipping wax from new automobiles. It rinses well and leaves no film or offensive odours. It is non-flammable, non-corrosive, environmentally safe and fully biodegradable.

I318 Synthetic Cooling Lubricant
A water soluble, fully synthetic cooling lubricant that has no mineral oils and is used in cutting, grinding, milling, turning and broaching applications. This low-foaming synthetic cooling lubricant and cutting oil will provide lubricity and cooling thereby extending the life of the cutting tool.

J546 Sani Hands Foam AF
This alcohol free foaming hand sanitizer is a very effective product while being especially mild on the skin. Sani Hands Foam – AF is quat based and is registered with Health Canada, DIN # 02351935.

S759 B-10 Biocide
A broad spectrum anti-bacterial product for use in a variety of applications including cooling towers, crude oil storage tanks, closed heating and cooling loops, fuel storage tanks, humidification spray pans and water disposal wells.

T647 Peroxysan 5
A peracetic acid based sanitizer ideally suited for a variety of sanitizing applications in food plants, dairies, breweries, wineries, and beverage operations. It may be applied to pre-washed surfaces such as floors, walls, process equipment and CIP systems by immersion, coarse spray or circulation.

Product Improvements

It has been an eventful, challenging and exciting year at Ostrem Chemical Company. This excitement is primarily product related, where reformulation has been the main focus. Formulations have changed due to government regulations, ingredient cost increases, environmental issues and the introduction of new and more effective ingredients. We have been so preoccupied with these projects and product testing to get things just right that we now feel we may have neglected some of our customer focus, which we know should be at the centre of any business. Hopefully this can be addressed with more energy in the months to come.

One of the first challenges was to limit the concentration of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (butyl cellosolve) in our various product lines to meet government regulations that took effect January 1, 2008.
